Product Overview
CYD-PR121 (CYD-H20) is a branched polymer with multiple surface hydroxyl groups. Due to its unique spherical molecular structure, it has a lower viscosity compared to traditional linear molecules, which can significantly improve processing performance, product appearance, adhesion and other properties. It can also be modified accordingly for specific applications.

Application performance
The dendritic polymers, due to their unique structure and physical-chemical properties, are excellent coating additives and plastic processing aids.
A large number of surface functional groups can be modified differently according to their application performance.
★ Compared with traditional coating additives, a smaller dosage can achieve better application performance, such as dispersion, adhesion, mechanical properties, etc., with a high overall cost-effectiveness.
★ Compared with traditional plastic processing additives, this product can not only improve processing performance but also significantly enhance the appearance quality, mechanical strength, and glass fiber dispersion of the products.
Application fields
Paint and ink dispersants: Enhance the dispersion of pigments in the system, maximizing the color intensity; Increase solubility to increase the amount of effective components dissolved; Reduce viscosity to lower the mixing requirements, and improve fluidity and wetting properties;
2. Paint Resin: Its numerous terminal groups are easily functionalized for modification. For instance, hyperbranched polymers with terminal double bond groups have low viscosity, high double bond functionality, and fast reaction speed, making them particularly suitable for use as paint resins. They can reduce the viscosity of the paint system, improve fluidity, and enable the paint to have excellent coating performance. At the same time, they can reduce solvent usage, increase the solid content of the paint, and decrease harmful gas emissions. The large number of unsaturated groups result in high reactivity, facilitating cross-linking for film formation and shortening the drying time. The application of this in the paint industry has a broad scope, such as UV-curable paints, powder paints, water-based paints, etc., especially as UV-curable paints.
3. Engineering Resin: Introducing hyperbranched polymers into thermoplastic resins can significantly enhance the processing performance and mechanical properties of the resin. Similarly, introducing hyperbranched polymers into thermosetting resins such as EP may also lead to some unprecedented performance improvements.
4. Plastic additives: They can be applied to PE, PP, PA and other systems, used to enhance processing performance and certain mechanical properties, and to reduce energy consumption and costs.
Product storage: The product is highly susceptible to moisture absorption. It should be stored in a dry and sealed environment at room temperature. Please avoid exposure to moisture, light, and prolonged exposure to the air. It is recommended to store the product at a temperature below 50℃ for long-term use. After the product packaging is opened, any unused portion should be sealed as per the requirements.
Product packaging: 20Kg per package.
Note: This product may experience a lumping phenomenon in hot summer weather. However, the product's performance remains unchanged; it is only a change in its physical state. This will not affect its usage performance. If the lumping causes the customer to be unable to use it properly, it is recommended that the customer crush it before using.
