HDPE double-wall corrugated pipe is a plastic pipe mainly made of high-density polyethylene. It is extruded from the inner and outer sides separately and formed in one step. The inner wall is smooth, while the outer wall has a trapezoidal corrugated shape. There is a hollow space between the inner and outer walls. Its unique pipe wall structure design enables such pipes to have high ring stiffness, high impact strength, light weight, good corrosion resistance, good wear resistance, convenient construction, low installation cost, low engineering cost, and long service life. It is widely used in municipal renovation projects, construction, industrial and agricultural drainage, agricultural water-saving irrigation, sewage treatment projects, etc. It is an excellent alternative product to traditional cement pipes, cast iron pipes and other material pipes. 
Product Features 
Lightweight and easy to install. The density ranges from 0.941 to 0.965, with a weight of 1/8 that of steel pipes and 1/10 that of cement pipes. The connection process is simple, significantly reducing transportation and lifting costs. The inner wall is smooth with low resistance. The absolute roughness of the inner wall is only 0.009mm, and the friction coefficient is extremely small. Electrically charged substances in water will not adhere to the pipe wall to form scale. Achieving the same flow rate, the inner diameter of HDPE double-wall corrugated pipes only requires 96% of new stainless steel pipes, 87.7% of ductile iron pipes, and 90.6% of cement pipes. This means that when using HDPE double-wall corrugated pipes, we can save a lot of engineering materials. Strong impact resistance. The impact strength is 6 times that of PVC and 4 times that of PP, making it the best among all plastic pipe materials at present. Strong compressive strength. The scientific structure, high ring stiffness, enhance the pipe's resistance to soil load. Appropriate flexibility, good seismic resistance. When subjected to external force, the pipe can have certain flexural deformation without breaking, and has good resistance to ground subsidence (especially earthquakes), adapting to complex terrain trenches. It is currently the best seismic-resistant pipe material. 
The engineering cost is 30% to 50% lower compared to steel pipes, and is on par with cement pipes in terms of overall cost. The engineering maintenance cost is lower than that of other pipe materials. It is a pipe with strong low-temperature resistance, operating normally within the temperature range of -40°C to 60°C. It is called a pipe that won't crack in freezing conditions. It has good chemical corrosion resistance and is an inert material that can withstand various chemical media such as acids, alkalis, and salts, without electrochemical corrosion. Generally, factors such as soil, acid, alkali, and electricity will not damage the pipeline. The service life is long, with a guaranteed service life of over 50 years, basically synchronized with the lifespan of the building.
